Delete your Spottix account
Spottix is operated by Himalya Nextgen Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You can permanently delete your account and personal data directly inside the app — no email request required.
How to delete your account
- Open the Spottix app on your Android or iOS device.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings (profile tab → gear icon).
- Tap Privacy, then Delete my account.
- Read the summary of what will be removed.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field and confirm.
Deletion is immediate. You will be signed out and cannot recover the account afterwards.
Data that is deleted
- Your name, email address, and profile photo
- Phone number linked to your account (if provided)
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
- Saved spots and personal bookmarks
- Points, badges, streaks, and leaderboard entries tied to your identity
- Photos and videos you uploaded with your reports (queued for removal from storage)
Data that may be kept
- Anonymised civic reports may remain on the public map without your name or contact details
- Minimal audit records required for abuse prevention and legal compliance
- Crash and diagnostic logs retained by Firebase for up to 90 days
- Encrypted database backups rotated on our servers (removed within standard backup retention windows)
Media files attached to anonymised reports are removed from cloud storage within 7 days of account deletion.

Email us from the address linked to your Spottix account and we will process your deletion request within 30 days:
